Review Process

The aim of peer review process is to ensure the publication of quality research articles, technical reports, and review papers. International Journal of Advanced Scientific Innovation follows peer-review using Online EMS System and also adheres to the Guidelines - Committee on Publication Ethics (https://publicationethics.org/core-practices). The journal ensures that peer review if fair, timely and unbiased. Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the journal’s standard. The acceptance or rejection of the manuscript is decided based on the originality of the study, its importance, contribution to the society, clarity and its relevance to the journal. Special issues and conference proceedings may have different peer review procedures. Guest Editors, conference organisers or scientific committees take part in reviewing the manuscripts of special issues and conference proceedings. Reviewer’s comments on the manuscripts play major role in arriving at the decision of acceptance of manuscripts.

Initial Manuscript evaluation

All the submitted manuscripts are screened by the editors at the first level. The manuscripts which are observed as insufficiently original, have serious scientific flaws, have poor grammar or English language, or are outside the aims and scope of the journal are rejected. Those rejected by the editor are informed about the rejection within 5 to 6 days of date of submission. Those manuscripts meeting minimum criteria are passed on to at least 2 experts for review.

Reviewer’s evaluation

International Journal of Advanced Scientific Innovation has highly dispersed & geographically separated team of review board members who make sure academic quality assurance of journal. The reviewers to evaluate the manuscript are selected based on their specialization. Manuscripts are reviewed with due respect for authors’ and reviewers’ confidentiality. Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript’s originality, significance of contribution, interest to scholars, scientists and/or practitioners, relevance, coverage of appropriate existing literature, adequacy of methodology, analysis and interpretation, clear, concise, Has results which are clearly presented and support the conclusions and jargon-free writing style. The reviewer and author remain anonymous throughout the process. Reviewers are not expected to correct or copyedit manuscripts. Language correction is not part of the peer review process. Typically the manuscript will be reviewed within 5-7 days of the receipt.

Timeliness

Reviewers are requested to respond promptly and those who accept invitations to review are requested to provide their comments within the agreed timeframe. Reviewers may also request more than one revision of a manuscript. Should the reviewers' reports contradict one another or a report is unnecessarily delayed a further expert opinion will be sought.

Final report

A final decision to accept or reject the manuscript will be sent to the author along with any recommendations made by the reviewers, and may include verbatim comments by the reviewers. Editor’s decision will be the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript.

Certificate of Acceptance

After review completion and acceptance, the authors of the accepted manuscripts are informed to fill the certificate request form from the journal. Every accepted paper will be considered for the best paper award of the monthly issue.
